Experience a bygone era where domestic life was one of both calm and joyful class - the house represents the optimism of the post-war era. The original features and unique items in the house provide ambience, comfort and interest. The historic 1937 bondwood caravan was featured in WA author Tim Winton's Cloudstreet and is a gorgeous spot to sleep or chill with friends. It's set up with facilities to serve a drink or tea. The cottage and caravan are popular for parties, including for young teens, of up to 12 attendees. Please let me know if you wish to do this as extra facilities are provided at a reasonable price. The cottage kitchen is perfect for cooking and will meet all your needs. An oven, microwave, rice cooker and small size dishwasher, plus baking items, ensure that you can cook to your heart's contents. A coffee pod machine and milk frother are provided and salt, pepper, spices, oil etc and milk to cover you that first morning. An original Metters stove and large gas BBQ are provided outside, with an eating area and sofas to relax on the patio. Fill the cast iron bath in the garden to cool down. A laundry service is provided or access to an outdoors, shared laundry on prior request. There are books, board games and some toys for children. You could also loan the Stand Up Paddle board that can fit an adult and two children. Bikes are available for kids to ride. All bedrooms have wardrobe space. Pets are welcomed and accommodated by prior arrangement. We have provided doggie daycare for some working guests. Let me know your family or group details so I can ensure the house is set up perfectly for you. A caretaker is present in an annex with separate amenities. There are no shared areas, except for the laundry. Your absolute privacy is assured and your area is locked. If you are staying more than a few days, a cleaner can do a refresh for a cleaning fee. Late and early check ins are also available. Please request either of these if required. Smoking only allowed outside.. Please discuss with me if you want to organise an event or party. Please only park in the driveway. It can fit 4 cars. There is additional parking at Stirling boat ramp is you have a larger number of guests coming to visit.

A cleaner can also be arranged to visit if you are staying more than a week and would like a refresh. A laundry service is available You can add more people for an additional price.
